One record instead of many notes
Profile, microchip, allergies, insurance, preferred practice, documents and the whole health history belong together — and stay together for a cat's whole life.
More than reminders
Vaccinations, weights, meals, medication, vet visits and notes — scattered across photos, scraps of paper and memory over a cat's lifetime. MiauID brings them together in one continuous record. For a healthier, happier and longer cat life.
Why another app
There are good apps that remind you of the next vaccination. What is missing is continuity: who fed the cat today? How much is left in the pack? What did the vet note two years ago? And how does that history reach someone who needs it, quickly and completely, when it matters?
Profile, microchip, allergies, insurance, preferred practice, documents and the whole health history belong together — and stay together for a cat's whole life.
Many cat homes have several cats, and rarely does only one person look after them. "Have you fed her yet?" is answered by a shared timeline — not by a shout across the flat. Family sharing for this is in development.
Instead of scrolling through 300 photos in the waiting room: a short, readable summary — clearly marked as what you entered yourself and what came from the practice.
The four pillars
The value does not come from the number of features but from the fact that they all work on the same cat record.
A profile with microchip number, sex, neutering, coat and markings, allergies, active medication, insurance, emergency contact and preferred practice. From it comes an emergency card that deliberately shows neither the full health record nor your home address.
LunaThe day at a glance: what is due today and what is done. Feeding times, litter boxes, routines and weight trend — as a calm flow, not an avalanche of notifications.
Real stock keeping instead of a counter. Pack size, portions and the meals actually logged tell you how long the food will last.
The health timeline as the backbone: vaccination, check-up, medication, lab, symptom, weight, procedure, document, note. Every entry carries its origin — entered by you or from the practice.
The tag on the collar
An NFC tag links your cat to its record in MiauID. The tag carries only a random code and a MiauID link: no name, no address, no health data.
Available on Android 1.0.5 iPhone: not yet in 1.0.1

Free · offline · no account
MiauID starts with a fully local mode. It costs nothing, needs no registration and sends no details about your cat to a server. The app contacts our server only to check for a new version, for anonymous crash reports, for messages if you allow them, and for feedback you send yourself (privacy policy in German, sections 7.5–7.8).
This is not a cut-down demo but the foundation of the product. Anyone who later wants sync, family sharing or sharing with the vet opts in actively.

Clear limits
We consider this part of the product's quality, not small print.
Pet passports, vaccination certificates and official microchip registers — in the EU, for example, the EU pet passport — are legal instruments with their own status. MiauID shows details for your own overview and replaces neither the official document nor a registration.
MiauID records, summarises and reminds. It makes no diagnosis, prescribes nothing, changes no dose and recommends no therapeutic diet. When your cat shows signs of illness, the right way is to the practice.
MiauID is meant to be funded by subscriptions, not advertising. In a product that touches health and household data, advertising SDKs would be the wrong choice.
Start with the free local mode — and see openly what each stage contains and what the planned plans are meant to cost.
