This page can be reached without signing in and without installing the app. It describes how to request the deletion of your data, what is deleted and what has to remain for legal reasons.

Current state of the product
MiauID works in local mode. There is currently no registration, no account and no storage of your cat's data with us. As long as that is the case, there is nothing about your cat for us to delete. What you can still do is in section 1; sections 2 to 5 describe the procedure that applies once accounts are introduced. This page stays at the same address.
In local mode all details about your cat are stored only on your device.
This irreversibly removes the local database. If you allowed notifications, our server also deletes the device ID, push token and inbox (privacy policy, section 7.6, in German). You can also reach the same item via More → Privacy.
Uninstall the app. The operating system then removes its local data.
Neither can be undone. If you want to keep your records, export them first.
Once MiauID offers accounts, there are two equivalent ways.
More → Delete data and account. This actually deletes the account and its data; it sends no e-mail to us and files no request that someone first has to process.
Send an e-mail to info@webpro.com.tr with the subject Account deletion. Name the e-mail address the account was created with. For security we confirm the request to exactly that address before deleting — so nobody can have someone else's account deleted.

If your device belongs to a household, it leaves the household on deletion: your name and your access are deleted on our server immediately. Shared care entries remain for the other members without your name. If you were the last parent, the household passes to the longest-standing member. When the last member leaves the household, we delete all household data including the change log.
The web portal has no account of its own to delete: a portal session ends with "Sign out", after 30 minutes without activity and after 8 hours at the latest; its record is deleted then. As a household member your access ends immediately when you leave the household (also by deleting in the app) or are removed. A vet practice ends its portal access by writing to info@webpro.com.tr from the e-mail address of its application; we then block the partnership and signing in to the portal is no longer possible. The portal's audit log contains no names and no content and, like the server log files, is deleted after 52 days.

A subscription is bought through the App Store or Google Play. You cancel a running subscription there; deleting your MiauID account does not end it automatically.
A deletion in the app takes effect immediately. We process a request by e-mail without delay, but at the latest within one month of receipt, as Art. 12(3) GDPR provides. In exceptional cases this period may be extended by two further months; we then inform you within the first month, with reasons.
Besides deletion you have the rights of access, rectification, restriction, data portability and objection. Details are in the privacy policy (in German). If you disagree with how we handle your request, you can complain to a supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR.

MiauID was built so that your data stays with you. We use no advertising model, sell no data and pass no personal data on to third parties.
